Johanna Neumann is the Policy Advocate for Maryland PIRG, responsible for policy development, research and advocacy. Ms. Neumann received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University in 2001 and graduated from Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing in 2002. Prior to joining Maryland PIRG, Ms. Neumann worked with Toxics Action Center based in Boston and the Environmental Health Education Center at the University of Maryland School of Nursing to protect communities from toxic threats.
